Dra. Gema Trigos Peral

Dr. Gema Trigos Peral. Associate Professor in the Dept. of Social and Myrmecophilous insects., at the Museum and Institute of Zoology (Polish Academy of Sciences), Warsaw (Poland). PhD in biology from the University of Córdoba (Spain) with the thesis: "Role of urban green areas in global strategies of conservation using ants as bioindicators". My main area of interest is the effect of urbanization on the biodiversity and phenology in the ant communities.

Dr. Amonio David Cuesta Segura

High school teacher in the community of Castilla y León, currently Head of the Department of Biology and Geology at IES Valle de Laciana, Villablino (León). Doctor in Biology from the University of León (Spain), passionate about nature in general and insects in particular. As an independent researcher, I continue to work with different groups of arthropods. I started in myrmecology in 2006, with a special interest in the biology and distribution of parasitic ants and myrmecophilous sensu lato.

MSc. Daniel Sánchez García

Daniel Sánchez García. PhD student in the Dept. of Social and Myrmecophilous Insects at the Museum and Institute of Zoology (Polish Academy of Sciences), Warsaw (Poland). I am currently studying parasitic interactions between Myrmica ants and the parasitic butterfly Maculinea teleius. I am mainly interested in the effect of interspecific interactions on biodiversity.
